Oatmeal with Fresh Blueberries

Ingredients

1 cup whole grain oats

2 cups whole milk

1 cup Consalo Family Farms blueberries

1/2 small banana, sliced

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt

1/2 apple, peeled and cut into matches

2 tablespoons walnuts

Raw honeycomb honey

Pinch of salt

Fresh Consalo Family Farms mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the oats. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the milk, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add salt.

  2. Remove from the heat, cover and let stand for few minutes.

  3. Serve sprinkled with the blueberries, walnuts, Greek Yogurt and spoonful of honey. Garnish with mint.
