Healthy Greek Yogurt with Fresh Citrus Syrup

Ingredients

1 Consalo Family Farms grapefruit, cut into supremes

1 Consalo Family Farms orange, cut into supremes

1 Consalo Family Farms Mandarin peeled, halved and cut

2 cups Greek yogurt

Toasted sliced almonds

Poppy seeds

Granola (optional)

Fresh Consalo Family Farms mint leaves, for garnish

Citrus Syrup

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Orange and grapefruit peels

1 whole star anise

1 cardamom pod

1 stick of cinnamon

Instructions

1. In small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add the spices and citrus peels and simmer for about 5 minutes. Strain and let cool off.

2. Add syrup to citrus and stir gently.

3. Serve on Greek yogurt and top with granola, poppy seeds and sliced almonds.

4. Garnish with fresh Consalo Family Farms mint leaves.
